LS-2000 DVCPRO100, MPEG-2, H.264-AVC HD/SD Server - Skymicro
provides a flexible and powerful server system that maximizes the Merlin
card’s performance and value. The LS-2000 can support up to 2 Merlin05
Standard Definition cards or 1 Merlin05 and 1 MerlinHD board. The system
can be configured with over 2TB of storage and may also be used as an
editing station or frame rate converter for Canon XL series cameras along
with any other PC-based applications.

definition I/O card can record and play high definition and standard
definition uncompressed video and compressed video in a variety of formats
and compression standards. The MerlinHD Producer board includes
hardware compression for recording and playing up to 4 standard definition

By using 2 decoders this I/O card can also be used for Non Linear Editing
